LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT  2-14-10

Hello to all,
    I know many of you have been inquiring as to what is happening with our efforts to get the SWLCC organized and going forward.  We have I think over come many stumbling blocks that efforts like this run into during their formation phase. I am happy to let you know we have an exciting year coming up but to get to where we want to go we need lots of help.

    Building our Website is paramount for us to go forward.  We need your help.  Anything you can contribute  would be greatly appreciated. Pictures of lures, information on plug builders, old photos, artwork, tackle used and the people who used it. It is our objective to build a website that we can all go to that has captured the history of our hobby and sport.

    It is also our objective to build a membership of friends old and new that share a common interest in salt water tackle and salt water fishing.  So please sign up and join in.

    And a final thought, it is our objective to hold our first annual SWLCC Tackle Show at the end of this July.  This will give us all a chance to gather together to show some tackle, share information, develop friendships, and swap stories.

    It will be a great year and I for one look forward to seeing old friends and meeting and making new ones.  Welcome to our club.
